Art of the Collage / CMYK Project
This screen print is a collage composed of found and original images, carefully arranged to create a cohesive theme. The image was then converted into CMYK separations using the traditional method. The project consisted of only four layers, utilizing the classic CMYK colors (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black). Accurate registration was crucial to ensure the colors aligned perfectly in the final 10”x16” print.
This piece was inspired by the passing of Hugh Hefner, the founder of Playboy and editor-in-chief of the magazine. Playboy, founded in 1953, was represented through a collection of photos featuring classic models. These were compiled into a collage to create an "anniversary" inspired tribute to the iconic brand.

Day of the Dead (Día de Muertos)
I explored the traditions of Day of the Dead, focusing on themes of memory, celebration, and history. My goal was to address the broader themes and iconography associated with the holiday and create a celebratory print. To honor the culture and holiday, I decided to incorporate it into a Lotería (Bingo) card format. The final product measures 10"x16".

Portrait
This screen print represents an abstract self-portrait, featuring drawings and other works I created during my "edgy" adolescent years. The motivation behind the piece stemmed from the question, "If every artist had to get their work tattooed on their body, would they be more cautious about the work they produced?" The final piece measures 10"x16".
